What are your pets\’ funny quirks?

Be patient, I have a lot. Tell me what you think in the comments, teehee!
My three dogs are Nelly, Roxy, and Fred.
Fred, my littlest and my baby boy, LOVES to sit in my lap. He isn't near small (he's a german shepard/border collie mix) but he will sit on his bottom two legs on my lap while I scratch his belly.
Fred and Roxy both will be running through the kitchen and they will turn and slide until they fall on the tile floor. It is hilarious! And they just get back up and keep running.
Fred often tries to climb the tree. He'll get a running start and jump up on the tree but he never gets it. He also chases planes in the sky when he's outside.
Roxy, my Doberman, is scared to death of the dishwasher! She won't come in the kitchen when it is on, leaving her stranded on one side of the house. She is the sissiest Dobie of all time! Also, she sleeps on her back with her legs straight in the air, which is a really funny sight to see.
When it snows, Fred is hilarious! He frolics and
tries to catch snowflakes on his tongue! Also, he is scared to death of the schoolbus because it takes his little friends away.
I realized I didn't have anything for Nelly, so I guess I'll have to add something... Got one, but it isn't that good. Nelly is the meanest dog in the world. She growls at the other two all the time (which I can almost understand, as they are kind of hyper all the time). By now, she's so used to being punished when she growls that she'll look at us and just go and get in her crate (I don't know, do you say kennel? Cage?)!

You should join dogster.com. My girlfriend is WAAAAY into her dogs (I am too but not to that extreme) and she has a web-page for her 2 dogs on this site. It would be great to showcase your dogs personalities here!

I have an adult male cat who carrys or drags items that appeal to him up 12 stairs from the basement and deposits them in the family room. He started by bringing up bubble wrap and a plastic hawaiian lei. He has since carried up a package of pipe clamps, an envelope of guitar strings, and a plastic handle.
Of course, in general he behaves more like a dog than a cat so I guess he is playing fetch with himself ; - )

My cat Peaches, if you make the slightest movement or noise that is sudden, she will go dashing away from you. But for some reason it doesn’t bug her if I am the one who does it.
I know it’s not mine, but my friend’s cat likes to get in the shower with her and will shred cigarettes and roll around in them.

I have a 6 year old quarter horse gelding who likes to pick up sticks in his mouth and run around with it. He will also empty our brush bucket and flip the bucket up and down, and for the funniest….He likes to use his grain bucket to chase our other gelding around with and when he catches up to him he will hit him in the rump. It is quite comical and funny to watch. He is just like a big kid.
